Programs
Pre-school We offer pre-school classes for 4 different age groups. Toddler playgroups for children up to 2, Early Learning pre-school for children 3 years old, Pre-school for children 4 and 5 years old and Pre-K for children who have already completed pre-school but do not meet the age requirement for public kindergarten. All programs are Montessori based with a High-scope influence
Child Care We offer full day full year childcare to children 6 weeks to 12 years. All children enrolled in childcare are included in pre-school classes at no extra charge.
USDA Food Program We have a full service kitchen from which we serve 2 snacks and lunch to all children daily. All meals and snacks meet USDA guidelines for child nutritional needs and, all meals and snacks are home made.
Families in Transition Scholarship Program Each year Besser Foundation grants dollars to the Center to disperse in the form of tuition scholarships for families who cannot afford childcare fees.
Training Worksite for Teens We provide training and observation time for teens enrolled in the high school Child Development program and teens from the volunteer centers Volunteen program.
Snow Day Care We keep a list of enrolled school age children who may need care on Snow Days. We staff for all of these children to be here just in case they need us. We do not require advance scheduling for care on snow days, as this is impossible for families to foresee.
